    With more then 20 years experience, the schematic software SchemELECT delivers its aims: reliability, ergonomics and open to other software.

    With many auto checking processes, SchemELECT helps you to eliminate errors during the design layout cycle: short circuit tests, tests of polarities, cross-references, uniqueness of names...
According to your quality chart, SchemELECT manages indexes of page modifications too.

Compatibility with standards

    SchemELECT is open to standard tools with graphic format which reads or writes DWG™, DXF™, MI™ , PDF™ , HTML™, Meta File. The databases can be in ASCII files or linked by ODBC™ with Oracle™, Access™, SQL server™... All theses reports can be read with the usual table editor (Excel™,...) or inserted into the project. The schematic pages follow the different norms: CEI, JIS, ANSI, DIN, BS. SchemELECT is available on the different Microsoft™ platforms and can be set to standalone or in a network configuration.

    SchemELECT is a part of the range of products designed by FTZ. So, you could generate the loop diagrams and communicate with SchemPID software dedicated to P&ID piping and instrumentation diagrams (valve, pump, tank...).

SchemELECT can be linked with SchemEXPLORER to manage the projects too.

+ Schematic

With SchemELECT, you create schematic diagrams by easy and fast actions such as symbol and wire insertions.
Automatic processes like the connection cuts for example, are also available.

    Standard schematic diagrams can be converted into cabling / wiring diagrams automatically or manually. Thanks to this choice, the user is able to set his own connection order.
Frame and symbol editions are possible and can be customized thanks to specific attributes.

    A translation function is included in this module to convert texts according to your own dictionary or to many standards.

    A multi-project management is proposed to improve the organization of big businesses. Thanks to complete transparency, you can insert cross-references and line transfers between different projects as if you were in them.


+ Crossed references

The Crossed references part processes dynamic crossed references between master and slave symbols (switches, pin numbers,...).
    SchemELECT checks also the amount of slaves for a same master and compares it to the material specifications in order to avoid any over linkages.


+ Wire numbering

A wide range of settings permits the matching of the wire numbering process with your wire identification preference (number, page, potential, phase, I/O number...).


+ Terminal blocks and Cables

The Terminal Block module enables the conception of the spider diagram.
This representation is used to model the installation through block diagrams, by defining different locations and cable routes.
The type, section and length of your cable routes can also be processed at this stage.

    The combination with the graphics editor gives the means to design complex and intelligent diagrams in order to clarify various location layouts.
Terminal blocks are automatically processed. A wide range of input data as well as design settings is definable to match your conception with such an advanced process.

    A "Go to" function is used to navigate from an annotation to its symbol in schematics.
Different kinds of material lists, such as connections, wires, etc... can be extracted and printed.

+ Bills of material

The Bill of Material module processes the extraction of data tables according to the user settings.
These lists can be printed and inserted in your project pages to dress different kinds of B.O.M.: for the suppliers, the buying department and the fitters.


+ Cabinet layout

The Cabinet layout assists designers in positioning rails, cable ducts and any material localized in your cabinet (may be put outside the cabinet, against the door).
Different kinds of view are proposed such as the section particularly useful to adjust in 3D the position of the material.

    Measure functions can be easily used in any direction thanks to 3D controls and views.
Cabinet & Cabling modules used together give to designers the means to wire various components within the cabinet.

    Wires/cables are automatically selected according to the scheme characteristics and SchemELECT controls the cable duct filling. You can also insert wires between panels and define the routes.

+ PLC interface

With the PLC interface, you could exchange files with PLC programmers to generate automatically I/O card pages from the PLC configuration.


+ Libraries

    SchemELECT is provided a complete package of graphic libraries with electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic symbols (more than 1 000 symbols). It includes components data bases supplied by manufactures to extract bill of materials.

    For your frames, you could use your own logo with different formats (DWG™, DXF™, BMP™, JPEG™, PNG™, TIFF™...) and manage cross references as your usual method.
All libraries could be customized and allow you to start quickly your full projects : schematic, terminal blocks, numbering, bill of materials, cabinet layout, reports.

+ Macro language

SchemELECT includes a macro-language which allows you to customize automatic processes in schematic projects or to develop links with other software (ERP...).

With integrated functions of SchemELECT macro-language , you can also develop your own electrical configurators from your own algorithms:
- Automatic schematic creation
- Automatic creation of the cabinet and its components
- Automatic creation of BOM
- ...

The HMI can be defined either with SchemELECT tools or with your own tools: software specifications, AccessTM, VBATM ...

The FTZ specialists can assist you in consulting and development of these configurators.

+ Instrumentation / Interconnections

The Instrumentation creates your loop diagram with data bases of blocks, instruments, wires, P.L.C, etc ...
With the Consulting Module, the user can plot intern data or view, but changes are limited to the project.
The SchemPID module processes your Piping and Instrumentation diagrams (valves, pumps, etc).
With specific libraries of SchemELECT you can model your pneumatic and hydraulic diagrams.

With SchemELECT, you could draw your logic, pneumatic and hydraulic projects too.


+ Label machine interface

    SchemELECT owns an interface to command label machine. (LEGRAND®, WEIDMULLER®, MURRTECHNIC®) for all types of labels (components, terminals, cables, wires).


+ Calculation

    SchemELECT is interfaced with softwares dedicated for calculations of protections and cable sections Caneco™ and Ecodial™.

+ Graphic editor

    SchemELECT is based on a full graphic editor compatible with Autocad™ format for reading or writing.
