However, with the advent of 3-D computer-aided design (CAD) software, this tedious process is becoming obsolete.<\/p><p><strong>FTZ<\/strong> highlights this new approach with a direct link between <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ftz.fr\/en\/cad-software-design\/electrical-drawing-schematic-diagram\/\"><strong>electrical schematics<\/strong><\/a> and 3D design: the schematic from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ftz.fr\/en\/cad-software-design\/electrical-drawing-schematic-diagram\/\"><strong>SchemELECT electrical CAD software<\/strong><\/a> provides a bill of materials directly integrated into the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ftz.fr\/en\/cad-software-design\/panel-3d-cabinet-electrical\/\"><strong>3D cabinet layout software, FTZ-Panel 3D<\/strong><\/a>. This link makes it possible to link the study to the cabinet layout, without any break in the information. This integration considerably reduces human error and speeds up the design process.<\/p><p>But that&#8217;s not all. Automation goes beyond component references from schematics.<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ftz.fr\/en\/cad-software-design\/panel-3d-cabinet-electrical\/\"> <strong>FTZ-Panel 3D<\/strong><\/a> can also automate cabinet layout using a customizable algorithm. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ftz.fr\/en\/cad-software-design\/panel-3d-cabinet-electrical\/\"><strong>Component layout and wire routing<\/strong> <\/a>are then carried out <strong>automatically<\/strong>, guaranteeing an optimized design that complies with recommendations. It provides a complete digital twin of the cabinet, with data that can be used directly by the various purchasing, workshop and other departments.<\/p><p>The impact of this automation on the panel builder industry is significant. It reduces design times, improves the precision, consistency and quality of enclosures, and frees up the design office to concentrate on higher value-added tasks.<\/p><p>In conclusion, 3D cabinet
